A watercolor painting on paper of New Orleans by artist John McCann. This slightly Impressionist style painting depicts the aforementioned Louisiana city from the view of a street corner, which is fronted by various Creole style buildings with the Court of Two Sisters restaurant signage to the immediate foreground. The street is reminiscent of New Orleans’s French Quarter District. To the lower left corner of the composition is a handwritten artist signature. The painting is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a gold tone metal frame with sawtooth brackets to the verso for hanging.
