A 1958 watercolor and ink painting on paper by noted sculptor of the West Indies, Socha Svender. This painting depicts a woman and child kneeling and interacting. The painting is signed by hand to the lower right corner and dated and marked ‘St. Croix, Virgin Islands’ to the lower left corner. The painting is housed in a painted wooden frame under glass.
