Vintage Jet Pocket Watch and Fob

A vintage jet pocket watch and fob. This item features a watch case and fob cabochon fashioned from jet, a precursor to coal. Around the outside of the case are round white beads that are marked with Roman numeral hour markers. The piece includes a key for setting and winding. Sterling silver findings join the case to the fob which has sterling intertwined letters reading ‘F’ and ‘C’ mounted on a jet cabochon.
