A handwoven dhurrie. This Indian-made wool rug features a highly stylized and abstracted linear herati pattern, incorporating flower heads, leaves, and vines, over a cream-colored field. The palette is cream, salmon, azure, and lavender. Framing the field is a salmon-colored primary border filled with arrows and florets. The rug’s outer guard border is azure. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with ivory wool warp fringe. Unlabeled.
