Item Details
A pair of sterling silver and crystal vanity jars. These pieces features octagonal jars composed of cobalt blue crystal. Each jar is topped with a sterling silver lid featuring repoussé Art Nouveau style designs of flowers, foliage, and females figures with long flowing hair. The lids are each stamped with an unidentified maker’s mark of ‘L-V’ within a flag-shaped cartouche, alongside ‘Sterling’. The total approximate weight of the lids is 0.620 ozt.
Condition
- faint wear to sterling lids including scuffs and tarnish; light scuffs to crystal jars; some dirt residue around jar rims.
