A collection of vintage multi-volume book sets. This collection includes volumes one through four of The Life of John Marshall by Albert J. Beveridge, published in 1919 by Houghton Mifflin Company. Also included are volumes one through four, condensed into two books, of History of Civilization by François Guizot (Circa 1930s), and volumes two and three of Essais de Montaigne (Circa 1930s). Each book is presented a hardbound cover with gilt lettering to the spine.
