A Chippendale style executive writing desk. It has a black top with carved gadrooned edges, on a stained and carved wooden base. To the front of the desk are five machine-dovetail jointed drawers with bail pulls and to the back is paneling.The cabriole legs have scroll and acanthus leaf carvings at the knees and end on ball and claw feet.
