An acrylic painting on canvas titled Three Black Circles by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957). The abstract painting features overlapping and loosely rendered rectilinear shapes in green, rust, yellow and blue hues. They are contrasted by three irregular outlines of cirlces in black across the lower edge. The work is signed in black to the lower left. The gallery wrapped canvas is presented unframed, equipped to hang with a wire.
Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
