A sericel from the film Bambi, manufactured by Walt Disney Studios. This sericel depicts the titular character posed on all fours, looking in awe at a butterfly that has landed on his tail as Thumper smiles nearby. The acetate cel is placed over an offset lithograph background of a wooded forest. To the lower right corner of the composition is a seal from Disney. The sericel is placed under glass beneath layered matting in a cream colored wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- slight warping to acetate ground; mild wear to frame.
