An artist’s proof offset lithograph print on paper after a work by Irish artist Brian Boylan titled An Bradán Feasa. The piece depicts the Irish mythological tale of the Salmon of Knowledge, rendered in a palette of blue, yellow, black and white, and surrounded with a Celtic-style border. The print is titled in plate to the lower center, signed in graphite to the lower right and noted with ‘AP’ to the lower left. It is triple-matted in blue and white and presented under acrylic glazing in a black plastic frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- slight toning to paper and matting; minor scratching and marks to frame and surface of acrylic glass; tears to frame’s backing paper.
