Joe Rice and Joe St. Clair Blown Glass Paperweights

A pairing of blown glass paperweights. Included is an apple paperweight by Joe Rice of House of Glass. This piece is accented with a green stem and encased feathered blue glass. It is finished with a row of bubbles towards the base, which bears an impressed logo, dated 2013. It is accompanied by a paperweight by Joe St. Clair, blown in clear glass in the likeness of a bird. It bears an impressed logo to the base, dated between 1938-1987. Joe St. Clair was the son of a French glass blower, who opened an art glass factory in Elwood, Indiana in 1938. His nephew Joe Rice took over the factory in 1987, renaming it The House of Glass.
