Assortment of Pipe Parts Including Porcelain Tyrolean Bowls
Item Details
An assortment of antique German porcelain Tyrolean pipe bowls and pipe parts. Included in this assortment are eight porcelain pipe bowls. There are three German military themed bowls with raised oak leaf and acorn design and decorated in different hand painted designs. One depicts a portrait of Wilhelm II, one depicts Wilhelm II dated 1896/98 with a list of names hand inscribed to the verso and one depicts Wilhelm with a canon with a list of names hand inscribed to the verso dated 1904-1906. One pipe bowl features a coat of arms with scrolled leaves and swan to the top. Another has a pub scene with ‘Sturmische Werbung’ to the bottom. There is one bowl with a hand painted portrait of a woman plus two plain white porcelain styles. The group also includes various pipe stems made of turned horn, cord and wood.
Condition
- to fair; each item could benefit from a cleaning; some chips and wear to some of the bowls; stems are worn and chips to the end.
