Item Details

A handsome and authentic German Black Forest Romba hunters cuckoo clock. This cuckoo clock is made from wood and wood inlay and features a deep rich walnut finish, with beautifully detailed carvings. Centered on top of the roof is a carved buck pediment with antlers. The clock dial is framed by pine needle swags and pinecones to the top and sides. Above the dial are charming folk art figures which emerge from two arched openings when the clock strikes the hour. This clock features a pine swag and pinecone-decorated pendulum and three large bronze finish pinecone shaped cast iron weights with the original wire hooks. Marked “German” on to the verso.
