A handwoven Turkish kilim wool area rug. This flatweave rug is rendered in a colorful palette with a predominate marigold, lime, and cranberry coloring, along with shades of blues and browns. The field features panels with jagged diamond medallions with cross patterned borders. The comb bordered panels and field are framed with a fetter patterned main border, along with running dog borders to each edge. Finishing the rug are double overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Labeled to the underside.
