A hand-knotted Persian Malayer Sarouk carpet runner. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of coral, ocher, deep teal, moss , charcoal gray, blood red, ivory and cobalt blue. It features a diamond shaped medallion on a coral-red field patterned with sprays of flower blossoms. It is framed with running water and carnation meander pattern borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso ‘made in Iran’.
