An antique Art Nouveau armoire. This antique French knockdown armoire is made of beechwood with panels of burl walnut veneer, with a series of carved seed pods atop the dentil-like molding on the pediment over the graduated cornice that surmounts the three door armoire, with the carved center door having an irregular hexagonal beveled mirror, flanked by smaller doors featuring seed pod carving over a stepped pattern and panels of burl walnut, the entire case on two long raised plinths decorated with dentil-like molding as on the pediment. The interior fitted with shelves and hanging bars. No key. No apparent maker’s mark.
