An antique woodblock print on rice paper attributed to Japanese artist Rekisentei Eiri (1789–1801). This genre scene depicts a woman and a boy walking away from a man in an outdoor setting. The work is signed in plate to the lower left and presented unframed under a mat.

Condition

- to poor; discoloration, foxing and water spots throughout; edge wear and surface abrasions; loss to ink; paper appears to be mounted onto newer rice paper; discoloration to adhesive; wear to inside of mat board.

- measures mat board; paper measures 14.0" W x 9.25" H x 0.1" D; printed image measures 12.75" W x 6.75" H.
