A recycled steel folk art wall sculpture of Noah’s Ark by Haitian artist, Jonas Balan. This whimsical piece is made with several layers of cut metal in a pierced design with intricate punched details depicting Noah to the left, flying birds overhead and many animals on the ark. The sculpture has a natural metal finish sealed to prevent rust. Signed to the lower right. Jonas Balan is a Haitian sculptor who creates steel art out of fifty-five-gallon steel drums. He lives in the village of Croix-des-Bouquets, outside of Port-au-Prince and works alongside his brothers Julio and Joel.
