An antique stoneware John Dewar and Sons Perth NB advertising whiskey jug by Doulton & Co., Lambert England . This was created to commemorate Queen Victoria’s issuing of a Royal Warrant to the Dewar Distillery in 1893.
An impressed impressed Register # 224,092 appears on the underside denoting the initial patent protection from piracy. Appropriately embossed to the underside, ‘Doulton Lambert England’ and ‘RD 224092’.
