A limited edition offset lithograph print titled L.R.R.P. after listed artist Jacques Lamy (French, 1946 – 2016). This print depicts soldiers moving through a thick and dense green jungle. The painting is signed both in plate and by hand to the lower right, editioned by hand 1/5000 to the lower left, and is housed in a wooden frame with a brass title plaque on the bottom. Jacques Lamy was born in France near the Loire Valley in 1946. He received his formal artistic training at Ecole Nationale Superieur des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Lamy worked as an artist, designer, and art teacher. His career allowed him to travel to Spain, Africa, and the United States. His work is housed in institutions such as the Musee D’Art Roger in Quillot, France and the Jesuit Art Museum in Dallas, Texas.
