A gouache painting on paper titled The Blue Rainbow by listed Navajo artist Justin Tso (born 1948). This painting depicts a woman riding a speckled horse under a blue rainbow. It is signed in paint to the lower right and titled to the verso. This painting is presented matted and housed in a wooden frame under glass.

Justin Tso was born in Canyon de Chelly, Arizona and is known for his equestrian scenes and Navajo reservation landscapes. He is very proud of his heritage and takes great care to portray this in his paintings. He went to many different schools all over the southwest insluding Chinle, Arizona; Gallup, New Mexico; and Lawton, Oklahoma, and completed his education at I.T.C. in San Francisco, California, and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
