A vintage Adams style captain’s chair. This chair features an upholstered, button tufted crest rail and padded armrest rail rising on curved and acanthus leaf carved arm supports. The chair features a pierced splat with acanthus leaf, C-scroll, and urn motif over a cushion seat rising on cabriole legs with acanthus leaves to the knees. There are no visible maker’s marks.
