Vintage Brass and Enamel Bible Stand

A vintage brass and enamel bible stand. The piece features an adjustable top engraved ‘JHS’ to center with a pierced brass base featuring arabesque designs throughout and a five-lobed front embellished with round enamel medallions of biblical portrayals of saints and the Sacred Heart. Each of the lobes features a pair of round green or burgundy tone glass cabochons to top and bottom. The piece rests on four splayed scrolled legs finished with ball feet.

- minor oxidation and wear noted; folding mechanism in working condition.
