A contemporary oil painting on panel by Chicago artist Errol Jacobsen (born 1948). The piece depicts an Impressionist-inspired view of figures walking among Anish Kapoor’s Cloud Gate sculpture in Chicago’s Millennium Park (commonly referred to as The Bean), with the city’s downtown skyline shown to the background. The work is initialed “E.J.” in brown paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a distressed wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
