An oil painting on canvas titled Five Feathers by listed Oklahoma artist K. Henderson (born 1954). This painting features a stoic Native American man with piercing eyes dressed in military uniform rendered with exceptional realistic detail and vibrant hues. It is signed in paint to the lower left and titled on a plaque to the lower margin. Additional inscriptions are present to the verso. This painting is presented without glass in a gilt wooden frame with ornate gesso moulding with an inner linen border.

K. Henderson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is known for her detailed western, equestrian, and Native American portraits inspired by her Native American heritage. She has won many awards and is a member of the Oil Painters of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painter Society (NOAPS) Signature member, International Guild of Realism, and Single Action Shooters Society (SASS).
