A mixed media painting on paper titled Ahtna Members Face Saw Mills, Long, Short, Long by Cherokee artist Terra Coons (20th/21st century), created in 2004. This painting depicts a family with three young children standing before a forest landscape, which is in danger of being cut down. This composition is rendered with gouache, matchsticks, and buttons. It is signed and dated in paint to the lower right, and inscribed with a short essay to the verso. This painting is presented matted and housed in a wooden frame under glass.

Provenance: Property from an American Midwestern Museum.
