A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz rug. The black field of the rug displays a pale red lobed medallion, arabesque vine patterns, and gray-blue spandrels. The field is surrounded by a principal meandering palmette border. The rug is finished with cotton warp fringe at either end.
