Antique Book Collection Featuring "Thackeray's Works"

A collection of antique books. This collection features twenty-two leather bound volumes of Thackeray’s Works, such as The Virginians, Vanity Fair and The Newcomers in the new library edition with original illustrations, published by Riverside Press, Cambridge 1889. In addition eight leather bound volumes of Lodge’s Portraits of Illustrious Personages published by William Smith, London, undated. Also present are seven volumes of Original Letters by Henry Ellis, published by Harding, Trumphook and Lepard, London 1814. To complete this antique set, four Works of Virgil translated by by Mr. Dryden, published by J&F Rivington, London, 1897 are also included.
