A pair of East Asian hand-stitched embroideries. These detailed pieces are rendered in a realistic style, with the first depicting a woman in a fringed, asymmetrical dress presenting a blue and white pottery vase, and the second depicting a woman surrounded by vines fixing her hair and looking into a small table mirror. Both textiles have the images printed on the ground beneath the stitching, and the color shows through areas in the backgrounds to fill in areas where the stitches are less closely-packed. Both are unsigned and presented behind glass in wood frames with triangle hooks to the verso for hanging.

- minor discoloration to textiles; accretion to glass; wear and chips to frames.
