An antique faux marbled and stenciled iron mantel with summer cover. The piece features a faux marble hand-painted mantle supported by two stenciled brackets. The metal back is embellished with both faux marble and rectangles embellished with stenciled designs. The removable summer cover features an elaborate pieced design with scrollwork and a domed center outlined in pierced patterns. Circa 1870.
