Antique Eastlake Walnut Marble Top Dresser

An antique Eastlake walnut marble top dresser. This American white marble topped dresser is made of walnut with figured walnut veneer. It features an architectural pediment supported from underneath by two incised carved blocks each with an applied trefoil, all over the moulded mirror frame with the similarly decorated supports resting on the white marble top on the chest which rests on the vertically incised corners that flank the three long stacking incised carved and hand dovetailed drawers, each veneered in three separate sheets of figured walnut and having two turned wood knobs, the case resting upon a moulded plinth base directly over the castors. Key not included. No apparent maker’s mark.
