This collection includes the complete set of The Second World War series, The Gathering Storm (1948), Their Finest Hour (1949), The Grand Alliance (1950), The Hinge of Fate (1950), Closing the Ring (1951), and Triumph and Tragedy (1953). The set was published by Houghton Mifflin Company of Boston. Also included is the complete four-volume set of A History of the English-Speaking Peoples series, published by by Dodd, Mead & Company of New York from 1956 through 1958. Each book is presented in a cloth bound cover with gilt lettering to the spine.
