Item Details

A replica Charles II arm chair by Century Furniture. The piece, typical of the designs of the Restoration period was made simply, but with great elegance and features a paneled, flat backrest, which is inlaid with stylized floral designs in contrasting veneers. Above this, a top rail carved with mirrored scroll patterns, which is picked up in the scrolled ears. The piece is also built with gently scrolling arm rests, and descends to turned legs with box stretchers. A leather cushion is also included.
