1960s Mattel "Midge" and "PJ" Dolls with Carrying Case

A collection of vintage Midge and Francie dolls with carrying case. This collection includes a pair of 1962 Midge dolls, one with freckles and titian hair, wearing a yellow and orange nylon bikini, the other topped with blonde hair and clad in a red one piece swimsuit. Both are embossed to the backside with ‘Midge 1962, Barbie 1958, By Mattel Inc. Patented’, as well as a 1966 ‘Live Action’ PJ with blonde hair, wearing an orange and white mesh swimsuit. Also offered is a baby blue faux leather doll wardrobe with metal enclosure and hardware, lined to the interior with white star spangled paper and featuring a pull out drawer filled with an assortment of vintage doll clothing and accessories.
Condition
- one “Midge” doll includes original packaging; tarnish to metal hardware and handle broken on case; wear and tear throughout from age and use.
