A machine woven tapestry of a lion hunt. This work depicts a group of men riding horses and camels approaching a male lion from the left. They are rendered in a sub Saharan environment with greenery present along the lower portion of the composition. The work has an arabesque border in blue, red, and neutral hues. It is presented without hanging hardware.

Condition

- there are two small areas of discoloration in the upper margin in the blue sky area of the tapestry.
