Item Details
A watercolor painting on paper of a street scene signed by an artist with the name Gene Jones. This Impressionist style painting depicts a loose, gloomy rendering of slender trees aligning a tended sidewalk, as silhouetted forms wearing raincoats walk towards a person on the street. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted signature, dated 1967. The painting is presented under glass beneath matting in a silver and bronze tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
