Vanity Case with Antler Trimming

A vintage vanity case. This piece is composed of trimmed antler with a heavy foliate pattern that is present throughout on the exterior. The interior features twelve compartments which feature a matching foliate pattern as the exterior as well as a mirror that is present on the interior of the lid.

• These items has been examined and verified by an independent Graduate Master Geologist (DCCPLS).

Condition

- some of the trimming is falling off; the mirror is not secure in the lid; one of the caps on the interior is missing; various degrees of wear and residue present on the pieces; various degrees of wear, tarnish and oxidation present on the metal portions of the trinket box.
