Giuseppe Armani Figurine of Mother and Child
Item Details
A Guiseppe Armani porcelain figurine of mother and child. The figurine entitled ‘Black Maternity’ features a reclining mother in a white gown and head band supporting herself with one arm while smiling at the infant she holds in her other arm. The figures sit on a cloud like pedestal mounted to a square wood base. An oval brass plaque mounted to the base is stamped ‘1973, F, Florence, Giuseppe Armani’. The piece is stamped to the pedestal ‘1993 Florence’ and signed Guiseppe Armani’. The piece is also labeled to the underside.
