A 1970 Italian postcard signed by the writer and public intellectual Gore Vidal (1925-2012). The postcard is addressed to a Mr. Goble at the Temple University School of Pharmacy and postmarked from Rome, Italy. Vidal was an essayist, novelist and screenwriter, who was most closely associated with the progressive politics of the Democratic Party and was a regular commentator on American politics for a variety of different television programs during the twentieth century.
