Vintage RH-36 Combat Knife with Cartridge Belt and Garrison Cap

A vintage RH-36 US Navy combat knife, with a Chinese cartridge belt and a garrison cap. This lot features a RH-36 US Navy combat knife, created by the PAL Blade Company of Plattsburgh, New York between 1940 and 1953, with a fullered, single edged blade with a clip point, ricasso mark, and ribbed grip; included is a US Navy Mark 2 sheath. The ammunition belt contains nine pouches and webbing straps, with Chinese lettering on the back in red, and the cream-colored garrison cap has red piping and a brass ‘U.S.’ button affixed to the side.
Condition
- cap shows edge fray and some discoloration, with tarnish to the metal pin; knife has wear overall and tarnish to the blade
