Nzambu East African Bust Sculptures
Item Details
A pair of East African wood sculptures. These busts depict a man and woman. The man his long hair braided down his back, a necklace, and one-shoulder top. The woman has short hair and is topless, with a wide ring collar. Both figures have large, stretched earlobes and are finished with a dark pigment to appear ebonized. They are marked ‘Nzambu’ to the undersides.
