Item Details

An early 20th century savonarola style oak armchair. The quartersawn frame features a curule-form seat flanked by contoured arms with conforming, slatted supports. It rises on splayed and turned legs joined by spindled stretchers. The underside retains a partial, illegible label and the chair comes with a green seat cushion with corner tassels.

Condition

- to fair; frame with scattered scratches, nicks, and marks; some finish losses to arms and along bottom edge of feet; seat cushion is later.
