Vintage One-Man Band "Beat Stick" Novelty Instrument

A vintage ‘Beat Stick’ for a one-man band, manufactured by the Noble & Cooley Company of Granville, Massachusetts. This ‘Beat Stick’ is in the form of a cane with rubber-capped ends; it features a frame drum mounted to one end with sleigh bells attached to the frame, bicycle-style bells attached to the ‘cane’ portion, and a string with wooden beads attached to a block at the top.

Condition

- surface wear; minor rust and corrosion to metal; tape applied to drum head; untested.
