Persian Hand-Knotted Baluch Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A Persian hand-knotted wool on cotton warp foundation area rug attributed to the Baluch region. It features a dark field with repeating central medallions and half-medallions in white, red, orange, and maroon. Additionally, there are several small rosette filler motifs in gray and pink. Enclosing the field are several borders in crenelated and alternating patterns. The sides are finished with double selvage edges, and the ends with cotton fringes.
