Vintage Hand-Woven Turkish Flat-Weave Kilim Carpet Runner
Item Details
A vintage, hand-woven kilim carpet runner, comprised of wool on a cotton warp foundation. The flat-weave rug is attributed with a Turkish origin. It features a dark blue field is repeating guls in a multitude of colors, such as: pink, blue, red, taupe, green, and more. Enclosing the field is a sawtooth-edge red border with repeating hourglass-shaped motifs in similar colors. Either end finishes with a cotton fringe, and the sides with multiple selvage edges. Unlabeled.
