Antique Chippendale Elm Corner Chair

Item Details

An English Chippendale corner chair in elm, having a curviliner back and arm rail, above two pierced-carved back-splats, between three turned supports and square legs. The red leather seat is upholstered over the seat frame with brass nailhead trim to the rear. The four legs have an X-stretchered support. Circa 1780-90.
