Vintage Oak French Art Deco Sideboard

Item Details

A vintage oak French Art Deco sideboard, circa 1930. It features an arched crest having a bas-relief cherry and leaf carving over a beveled mirror and shelf surrounded by recessed burled oak veneered panels and resting on the marble top. The white and grey marble top is set in an oak frame resting over two dovetailed drawers, an open shelf and two hinged cabinet doors. The drawers and cabinet doors are fitted with unique embossed brass hardware. The cabinet doors feature burled oak veneer panels and bas-relief cherry carvings. The piece stands on fluted legs joined by a routed apron. No visible maker’s marks.
