Vintage Silver Plate Handled Grape Motif Card Receiver

Item Details

A vintage silver plate handled card receiver. This piece features a round, wide dish with an engraved grape and leaf motif, bird accents around the rim, and a bail handle at the top with a Cervinae head finial. The dish is raised on a tapered stem and four-footed base with Neoclassical style Minerva bust finials, a stretcher, and claw feet. The underside of one foot is stamped, ‘243 3’ and another foot is stamped to the underside, ‘Designer Plate’.

- to fair; surface wear including scratches and mild tarnish; missing one bird finial.
