A collection of twenty U. S. Walking Liberty silver half dollars. The coins date to 1943 – P (11), 1943 – D (4), 1943 – S (3) and 1942 – P (2). Each has 90% silver and 10% copper composition. The designer-engraver was Adolph A. Weinman, one coin’s diameter is 30.60 mm, and the weight of each is 12.50 grams. The mintages range from 53,190,000 (1943 -P) to 11,346,000 (1943-D).
