U.S. Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollars
Item Details
A collection of twenty U.S. Walking Liberty silver half dollars. The coins date to 1947 – P (2), 1947 – D (2), 1946 – S (1), 1946 – P (2), 1945 – S (4), 1945 – D (2) and 1945 – P (3). In addition, there are four silver half dollars that dates are illegible. Each has 90% silver and 10% copper composition. The designer-engraver was Adolph A. Weinman, one coin’s diameter is 30.60 mm, and the weight of each is 12.50 grams. The mintages range from 31,502,000 (1945 -P) to 3,724,000 (1946-S).
